“ We had a fabulous dinner here. They had the best gluten free options ever! I cannot believe that I was able to enjoy fried chicken bites and steak crostini and it was all sans gluten. Thank you Black Forest Brewery for providing these options. ”
“ Black Forest Brewery is a small restaurant with around 10 tables. The food is excellent! It was out of the way, behind a B&B, so I wasn’t sure. But my burger with fig jam was the best burger I’ve ever had! Also, definitely get the tater tots. I will go back with friends soon. ”
“ I wanted to give 5 stars for every category but the only thing is some places are in fact better so the category that stood out the most as far as not QUITE a 5 maybe, was the server could have been a LITTLE more friendly. She was pleasant, but not like someone who is trying to really earn the 22% tips they put on the CC machine they bring to you...so 4 there. Food was great. Just a TAD pricey maybe but overall a great experience! I would go back. ”

I was intrigued when I came across "shrimp and grits." I am born and raised southern and have been looking for grits since I moved here, but I've been hesitant to give them a try since it's not back home. Well, let me say that I had the dish and I approve! Those were some of the best creamy grits I've ever had! The shrimp was a bit salty, but it had lots of flavor! I will be returning to purchase this again, along with trying all the other yummy options! I was also pleased with all the gluten/dairy free options as well! ”

They have a separate fryer and were super aware of protocols for celiac safety. Parking can be a little tricky but it was a fun place to go on a Saturday for lunch. ”
